What is Lagree Fitness Pilates?

Lagree Fitness™ is an innovative workout specifically designed to strengthen, tighten, and tone the body quickly and safely. This workout is largely based on the holistic principles of Pilates, but also emphasizes the strength training and cardio elements not inherent to Pilates to achieve muscle definition faster than traditional Pilates and/or weight training alone.

All in as little as 40 minutes! By incorporating the key principles of core stability and blending them with the fusion of muscle dynamics, Sebastien Lagree has created “THE NEXT EVOLUTION IN PHYSICAL FITNESS.”

Simply put, Lagree Fitness is the most innovative and aggressive approach to full body conditioning.

Moving effectively out of the borders of conditioned stimulus, this workout integrates the key elements of resistance and counter-resistance in a sequence that allows for periods of zero gravity at peak muscle contraction.

The composition of this The Lagree workout strengthens the body, tones and elongates the muscles, improves endurance, jump-starts the metabolism, burns fat, increases flexibility and postural alignment, and restores the body’s natural balance.

The client, at conclusion, is left with a LITHE AND POWERFUL BODY, resistant to the everyday stresses of work and life.

Private Sessions

For Private Sessions, email us at info@pilatespluspb.com or text us at 858-888-3281 and let us know which Session/Package you're interested in & why you'd like to schedule a private (injuries, get familiar with the machines, etc). Make sure to have a card on file. We can process it and schedule your session.


Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first class so the instructor can go over the equipment and rules for you.

Your spot will be held for the first 5 minutes of class, then may be given to a stand-by


If you're on the waitlist, you'll be notified in advance. You're always welcome to show up in case there's a no-show.

"Unlimited" clients will be charged $20 for a no-show, or $15 if you cancel within 12 hours. So save $5 by taking a minute to cancel


Class Pack clients will not be charged a late/cancellation fee, but will lose the one class from their package.


A great attitude!

Bring grip socks (required for safety and sanitary reasons). We also have some you can purchase at the studio.

You may want to bring workout gloves to help you grib the handle bars better...but most people don't need them.

  • Most importantly, bring a positive attitude. Leave all your worries behind. The class is for you. You need to be present-minded when working out to maximize the benefits of the class.
  • Bring a towel as you will most likely sweat!
  • Bring water. Hydration is key!
  • Wear comfortable clothes that allow your muscles to stretch and your skin to "breathe".
  • Grip socks for safety & sanitary purposes (if you don't have any, you can purchase a pair at the studio).
  • Jewelry is NOT a good idea. A necklace may get caught in the springs system (a nightmare to undo) or you may forget it/lose it.
  • No cell phones during classes (please be respectful of others).
  • No strong perfumes as some students are allergic.
  • You'll need a hair tie if you have long hair.
  • Bring a friend! Sign up a friend and workout together. :)

The Training

At the core of the Lagree training method is the Proformer™, which represents a significant evolution of the traditional Pilates reformer. It is designed to cater to both upper and lower body muscles, using a system of springs and pulleys to accommodate the resistance and counter-resistance elements of the workout. Under the guidance of your certified instructor, it’s one of the safest ways to strengthen your muscles while reducing stress on the joints and connective tissues.

COVID-19 Studio Safety

Your health and safety is important to us!

  • Please stay home if you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell.
  • Please sign up in advance for classes - at least 1 hour.
  • ​Grip socks must be worn.
  • ​Please bring your own water & towel.
  • ​Sanitizing wipes, sprays, and foam dispensers are stationed throughout the studio. Please wipe down machines thoroughly after use.
  • ​ Instructors will be sanitizing machines and touch points between classes.
  • ​At the end of class, please leave all footbars in the upright position & place bungees and red handles on top for more walkway clearance.

Throw Back!

Check out one of our promo videos from 2012! Back then, we were the only group pilates based studio in Pacific Beach, and one of about 4 studio in all of San Diego.

We brought an innovative style of fitness to the community, was studio of the month at Lululemon, won Best Pilates Studio in San Diego 4 years in a row, had our own App, gradually included Booty Barre, Piloxing, TRX, and Real Ryder Spin Bikes. We opened another studio in Encinitas, made several TV appearances, were featured in many magazines, had DJ's spinning during classes, and took San Diego by storm! But we are most proud of the community we've built in PB.
